Transitioning for Fall

Fall is the ideal time for cleaning up lawn debris, planting perennials, and aerating the soil. Aeration and overseeding can fill bare patches and help grass grow strong before winter.

Apply mulch to flower beds and fertilize your lawn to nourish it. Remember to rake leaves regularly to prevent lawn suffocation.

Winter Protection

Trim dead branches to prevent damage from snow and ice. Bring potted plants inside or use a burlap or frost cloth to protect sensitive plants from frost bite. Consider applying a layer of winter mulch to maintain soil temperature and moisture.

Spring Revival

Spring calls for a soil refresh! Test your soil’s PH and apply the necessary nutrients. Use pre-emergent weed control to stop weeds before they sprout, and plant seasonal flowers and shrubs that thrive in the spring climate.

Spring is also an excellent time to plan new landscaping designs and revive your outdoor space.

Summer Maintenance

Adopt a watering schedule, by either watering in the morning or late in the evening to reduce evaporation. Consider investing in an irrigation system for consistent hydration.

Keep your lawn trimmed, but not too short, only around 3 inches to resist drought. Add new mulch to flower beds to retain moisture and suppress weeds during the dry season.
